It’s that time, again! The first of our Saturday Winter Farmers Market gatherings is this Saturday, Jan. 21, starting at 11 a.m. (rain, snow or shine).
Please call (928) 587-1660 for a map, directions and road conditions if you haven’t made a visit to Lodestar.
Enjoy free space for vendors, free hot beverages, free farm tours, and delicious homemade lunch for just $2 (soup, salad and Clark’s ancient grain bread).
Dr. Trevor Sexton, N.D. (Naturopathic Doctor) will be our featured presenter at 12 noon. Dr. Sexton, a licensed naturopathic physician, will discuss “Basic Treatment for Everyday” – his guide on how to return to basic daily treatments that add good health to your daily routine. A graduate of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Sexton earned special training in fasting therapies, clinical nutrition, spinal manipulation and acupuncture among other treatment areas. Based at Compass Health Clinic in Show Low, Dr. Sexton has suffered from rheumatoid arthritis which helped guide his practice and shape his philosophy that every person is different and should be afforded a unique, individualized treatment plan.
We will have a variety of produce on sale, including our Lodestar Asian Greens ($2/bag), carrots, turnips, rutabagas (all $2-3/lb.), dried lavender and other herbs, and our homemade, 8oz. jars of pesto (walnut $8, pine nut $10, non-dairy $12). All of our packaging is eco-friendly made of cellulous, reusable, recyclable (and compostable) bags.
Additionally, we will be offering Concho Coffee, fiber arts and accupressure treatment tools.
We hope to see you on Saturday!
