We are encouraging market goers to attend and learn about some of the most practical strategies to help all of us to prolong the growing season, to maximize our food production. Peggy Miner’s homestead is located in a beautiful valley a few miles from Concho.

Peggy, a permaculture designer and veteran gardener, has learned how to practice sustainable methods of fertilizing the soil, harvesting and conserving water, attracting pollinators, and extending the growing season.
