How to Apply:
Please fill out the application below for the Homesteading Apprenticeship Program. Upon submitting your application, you will be invited to an interview with our instructors. We encourage all prospective students to attend the 4-Day Earth Tribes Homesteading Retreat in May 2026 for an immersive introduction to our farm, your instructors, and the HAP curriculum.
Admissions Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Physically capable of moderate physical activity
- Enjoy working with animals
- Omnivorous (The food our students will grow & eat––both plant and animal––is organic, highly-nutritious, and chemical-free. We understand many may have unique dietary preferences these days, and please note in your application if this applies. However, our communal meal plans do not accommodate strict carnivore or vegan diets.)
- Able to live comfortably in a drug-free, off-grid, communal, nature-reverent environment
The first year of HAP, the 6-month High Desert Homesteading Immersion Program, will begin April 2027. Currently accepting applications on a rolling basis until November 11, 2026.
