Food Villages

Interested in creating or participating in a food village?

We would love to share our experience creating the Lodestar Gardens Grassroots Co-Op feeding six families year-round since 2012. Our only currency is shared labor for shared harvests. We believe we can start to make our communities food secure one food village at a time.

• If you are unable to attend the Saturday Farmers Market and would like to purchase fresh produce, we take orders via this email address up until Thursday @ 5:00 p.m.–the day before we deliver FRIDAY every week at noon to Pinetop area at SPA Estique and to Show Low area at the Safeway parking lot by the purple clothing bins @ 1:00 p.m. Orders will be honored according to the date and time they are received as long as supply lasts. We will acknowledge your order has been received and if we are able to fulfill it by Friday morning. Please indicate in the email your name and the amount you want to order. Cost is easy to figure: $3 a bag; $3 a bunch. Eat GREEN all year round.
